St. Patty's, cheesecake and elephants, oh my!

We really need to break out the video camera more often, but for now, pictures will have to suffice. Another new phrase... she loves to say alrighty or alrighty tighty! She kills us with the things that come out of her mouth! Here are a few photos of some of the fun we've been having.

Enjoying some cheesecake with mommy!
(sorry for the blurriness)

Our really creative elephant mask we made together!
Her new "perch"
Mmmmmm. green eggs and ham (and milk) for St. Patty's Day!

What I love....

Some of the things I love about our little 2 year old.....

- That she says "unfortunately"

- When she hugs us, she rubs our back or shoulders

- She knows all the words to so many songs and nursery rhymes (Twinkle-Twinkle, Doe-a-deer, Hey Diddle Diddle, Hark the Herald Angels, just to name a few)

- That she can not throw a ball to save her life, but she thinks she can

- She likes to help with everything

- She is completely potty trained!!!

- She spontaneously tells me she loves me and I'm beautiful or I'm her cutie pie

So much more that I can't think of, or can, but then this post would be way too long!

Silly faces!

Avery has been working on her silly faces. She really just has one, her mad face. She's working on others, but I haven't been able to get her to hold one long enough to actually document it. I tried to get her to pose with her "mad" face the other night, the girl can't have her picture taken without saying cheese! Even with the mad face on, she had to say "cheese" for the camera.
Mad face...."cheese"
Oh wait, I'm happy!
Practicing faces on the potty...
Pancakes with friends is the best!
She was playing in her room, this is what she was doing when we checked on her.
Daddy snuggling with his baby....
and his other baby.
Willie really likes his new bed.

A visit with Aunt Alissa

Aunt Alissa decided to take some time out of her busy schedule to pay us (Avery) a visit. Avery had tons of fun hanging out with her and is still talking about it and wanting to call her on the phone every other day.

Beautiful day in West Seattle!

A girl's got to accessorize.

Band-aids.....

We have a bit of a band-aid obsession in our house lately. We have "owies" almost every day so that we can choose a "Toy Story" or princess band-aid. Today, the "owie" was on her head! Turns out, they don't really come out of one's hair very easily. I had to cut a small piece of hair to get it out. Avery was excited that she had her "first haircut". Here's the proof.
